Halftone or riso?
Halftone is loud: navy dots on acid yellow. Riso is soft: violet grain, coral shadows. Same six pieces, two moods.
What is halftone?
An old way to print shade with one ink: the picture is broken into dots, big where it is dark and small where it is light. Ours are navy, on acid yellow.
What is riso?
A small-press print look: one colour laid over another, grainy, never quite in register. Ours is violet over coral.
Why Staunton?
It is the set the game is played with: the 1849 pattern, still the shape of every tournament piece.
How do the posters come?
Rolled, in one size: 12 × 16 in (30 × 40 cm), on thick matte paper.
What size is the poster?
One size: 12 × 16 in (30 × 40 cm). Big enough for a wall, small enough for a desk.
What colour are the clothes?
White. The heavyweight tee, the crewneck and the hoodie are white, the oversized tee a faded white, the tote natural canvas. The print does the talking.
How do I choose my size?
Every tee, crewneck and hoodie has a table in centimetres in the size guide. The heavyweight tee and the crewneck are relaxed: take your usual size. The oversized tee and the hoodie are cut loose: check the measures first.
Why do some sizes cost more?
The biggest sizes and the bigger posters take more material. The exact price shows when you pick a size. Shipping stays free.
How long does delivery take?
Your piece is printed after you order, then shipped to you. Orders arrive between 6 and 13 Nov, with free tracked shipping.
Where do you ship?
To 75 countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Singapore, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The full list is at checkout. Shipping is free on every order.
Any customs charges?
The carrier may collect import tax or duties on delivery, under your country’s rules. Those go to your government or the carrier, not to us.
Where is it printed?
By a production partner at one of its print shops around the world, then sent straight to you.
How do I look after it?
Clothes: wash cold, inside out, hang to dry, never iron the print. Mugs: dishwasher fine. Posters: out of direct sun.
Can I change or cancel?
Yes, within 2 hours of ordering, before printing starts. Write to hello@miniblank.com.
Can I send it back?
Not for size or a change of mind: it was printed for you. Damaged, misprinted or wrong: we replace it or refund you. Write within 14 days of delivery with a photo. Details in the replacements policy.
